History and Legacy
Before Ocean Crest Restaurant even became a dream, owner Barbara Curtright served her famous clam chowder to resort guests from a Japanese hibachi near the fire pit in front of the three original cabins. Evening bonfires featuring roasted marshmallows were a normal summer occurrence.

On The Coast
In 1963, an ocean view dining room was added to the property. Later, a "Gourmet Gold Room" served flaming entrees. The Restaurant and Lounge burned to the ground after a massive three-day fire in 2011, but returned to the coast in 2014. Ocean Crest Restaurant underwent a massive restoration and renovation that brought back the same loving owners, delicious cuisine, and attentive staff you'll find here today.
